BREAKING: UI students ordered to Vacate Premises before 4pm (audio&photo)

1 Min Read

Reports just coming in indicate that the Management of the University of Ibadan (UI) have issued an order mandating the student to vacate the school premises before 4pm.

This was due to the fact that the students were protesting over lack of light and water. There was also the one-semester rustication of an Engineering student.

The Vice-Chancellor went on Diamond radio, the school’s official radio station to make the announcement citing fears of further violence and vandalism as some of the reasons for the order.

The show came on at 2:00pm which basically gave students a mere two hours to move all their stuff out.

As at the time of this report, there has not been any reaction from the students themselves.

You can listen to the audio file mandating the clear out and view a photo of the order below
