Buhari Arrives In Bauchi For 2-Day Working Visit

President Muhammadu Buhari is presently in Bauchi on a two-day working visit.

The Governors of Bauchi and Adamawa, Mr. Muhammed Abubakar and Mr. Mohammed Jibrilla, and other senior government officials received the president at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Bauchi.

According to the presidency, Buhari will commission some projects including the NAF Base Hospital Complex while on the visit.

The Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, had tweeted earlier today that, “President @MBuhari will later today, pay a 2-day working visit to Bauchi State, during the visit he expected to commission some projects including the NAF Base Hospital Complex.”

The Special Adviser to the Bauchi State Governor on Communications, Shamsuddeen Lukman, had tweeted on Wednesday: “His Excellency Governor M.A. Abubakar @GovMAA declares Thursday April 26, 2018 public holiday ahead of President @MBuhari visit to @BauchiState . The holiday is declared to enable the good people of Bauchi State and Nigeria give the President a rousing reception. #PMBInBauchi”
