Former minister of Information Prince Tony Momoh has stated that President Buhari has done more for Nigeria than what the Opposition Peoples Democratic Party did in 16 years.

Prince Tony Momoh made this statement on Wednesday during an interview with the Daily Independent where he reiterated that Buhari has achieved a lot in three years.

Tony Momoh who was a chieftain of the CPC that later merged with the All Progressives Congress, APC expressed his confidence in the ability of President Buhari to secure more votes in the 2019 general elections more than any Presidential Candidate since 1999.

According to the APC chieftain, the recent Bye Elections in the country especially in Katsina North Senatorial District was a testament to the popularity Buhari still enjoys across Nigeria.

According to Prince Tony Momoh,

Buhari will have more vote than any other presidential candidate since 1999. People today are assessing votes through social media but social media doesn’t vote. Social media has the credit of shouting and yelling but shouting and yelling can’t win votes.” He taunted.

He went further to ask people to get their Permanent Voters card and vote instead,

“Go and register, get your PVC and vote. I can assure you that Buhari has done more than what PDP has done in 16 years in just three years and those things will speak for him 2019″. Look at what happened in the just concluded bye-elections. Some people went to Daura and they thought they can defeat Buhari in his constituency. In his polling unit, PDP had just one vote while APC got 206 votes,” he boasted further.
