Convener, Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju has alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari only cares about his family members and himself.

According to him, the president would not hesitate to leave Nigeria alongside his family members should terrorists overrun the country.

He stated that the nation’s number one citizen could not care less if traditional or religious leaders were abducted by Boko Haram and bandits.

The activist added that the president was also not bothered by the kidnap of members of his political party.

Adeyanju’s assertion came following a Daily Trust report that 113 traditional rulers had been kidnapped across the country in four years.

The assertion also came barely 24 hours after bandits attacked the officers’ residential quarters at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, killing two military officers and abducting another.

Adeyanju wrote on Twitter, “Buhari does not care if traditional or religious leaders are abducted by Boko Haram & bandits, neither does he care if members of his political party are also abducted.

“A military jet was shot down by bandits after his COAS also died in a plane crash on official duty; he didn’t attend his burial 5mins away from Aso Rock but he travelled all the way to Kano for his son’s wedding and spent 3-days celebrating.

“All he cares about is himself and members of his family. He is ready to run away with his family if terrorists take over the country.”
