Buhari shifts FEC meetings to Thursday

President Muhammadu Buhari has shifted the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meetings from Wednesday to Thursday.

Today’s meeting failed to hold as the Presidency, said that it will now take on Thursday, but did not give any reason the meeting was shifted.

This would be the first time the council meeting will be moved to another day in the week which is not a Wednesday.

According to the Presidency, it will meet on Thursday to consider the 2018 budget agenda.

A tweet on the presidency’s verified Twitter handle @NGRPresident simply stated:
“Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting will hold tomorrow, Thursday Oct 26. Agenda is #Budget2018, which is currently being finalized.”

The Federal Government had promised to ensure that the 2018 Appropriation Bill gets to the National Assembly this month
