On the alleged similarities, the US-based Omokri alleged that both the Taliban and the Buhari government “hate unbelievers”.

He wrote, “What is the difference between Buhari’s government and the Taliban?

“The Taliban are against free speech, Buhari banned Twitter. They hate unbelievers, Buhari’s minister, Pantami, is happy when unbelievers are killed.

“The Taliban has their Mullah, Buhari has Gumi! The Taliban protect their fighters, Buhari protects his killer herdsmen kinsmen.

“The Taliban kill those who do not subscribe to their brand of Islam, Buhari kills Shiites. So, again, I ask you, what is the difference between Buhari’s government and the Taliban?”
