Buhari Wants Religious Studies Made Compulsory, Bans Wearing Of Hijab In Public Places

President Muhammad has called for compulsory inclusion of religious studies in the school curriculum in the country while presenting a speech at the end of Qur’an recitation held in Lafia the state capital.

President Muhammadu Buhari who was represented by the Minister of Education, Alh Adamu Adamu, said that the call had become imperative considering it importance in inculcating moral behaviour in the life of people in the society.

He explained that religion study in the school curriculum would inculcate good moral behaviour to the students and change the life for good.

Adamu who also clear air on the issue of wearingHijab, said President Mohammadu Buhari has not said anything against the wearing of Jijab; added that president Buhari would not like to say anything that would go against the religion saying the President is respecter of religion.

He explained that the wearing of Hijab would only be resisted from public places to expose those use it to explode bombs in the public domain.

Earlier in his key note address the president of Islamic the Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar applauded the organisers of the Qur’an recitation added Qur’anic recitation would help inculcate good moral behaviour to the believers

He called on Muslim to pray for peace in the country for development to strive.

Also speaking Governor Umaru Tanko who serve as a host explained that the aimed of Quran recitation is to inculcate the word of holy Qur’an into the mine of Muslims in order to promote peace in the society.

Al-Makura who condemn the act of book -haram that used the name of Islam to perpetrated their dreaded act called for it stoppage for peace to reint in the country.
