Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad has mocked supporters of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan who claimed that the former president could never join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He stated this in a tweet on Thursday morning after it emerged that Jonathan had joined the APC in his Otuoke Ward, Bayelsa State, and planned to vie for the presidential ticket of the party.

Some supporters of Jonathan, including ex-aide Reno Omokri, constantly dispel insinuations of the ex-president’s purported move to the APC.

Reacting, Ahmad said, “When I shared the news of former President Jonathan joining our party, his uninformed supporters insulted me saying that can never happen even in the wildest dream.

“They should know that we know something they don’t know and not everything plan and execute on social media.”
