Femi Adesina, the Special adviser to the President on Media and publicity has responded to claims made by former President Olusegun Obasanjo that Buhari’s government is a failure.
Obasanjo had made these remarks stating that Buhari did not understand internal politics and he also called on the APC to stop moaning about the challenges it met on ground.
He said; What we have now is failure. Never you reinforce failure, let failure be failure… Those of you who are in business, your business could have been better today if we have a competent and effective and performing government,”
According to Channels news, Adesina upon being contacted said that Obasanjo had said nothing new and that the Buhari government was always looking to improve.
He also said that the statements made by the minister of Information and culture, Lai Mohammed in response to Obasanjo’s claims still held true.
On the issue of constantly moaning about the challenges met on ground allegedly caused by the APC, Adesina was quick to state that the APC and Buhari’s government would continue to call these out and talk about the challenges which they face in creating a competent government for the people, but in his opinion, he does not see this as moaning, but rather, an exposition of the folly of the PDP.
