The case involving the disqualification of President Buhari’s candidacy due to his school result has taken another twist.
According to reports, Justice Ademola Adeniyi today said the matter has been adjourned sine die following the notice of appeal filed by the President. This means that the matter has been adjourned indefinitely.
Buhari and his legal team had appealed against Adeniyi’s May 26 ruling dismissing his preliminary objection.
The case was instituted by an Abuja lawyer Nnamdi Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe in which he contended that Buhari did not fulfill all the constitutional requirements to be President.
