Senator for Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, Shehu Sani says it is useless building infrastructure without security.

He stated this in a Wednesday tweet.

The vocal politician’s comment came barely two days after 37 persons were reported killed when terrorists torched a bus in Gidan Bawa, about 6km from Sabon Birni, Sokoto State.

On Tuesday, Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) also stormed and took over a police station in Buni Yadi town, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State, SaharaReporters reported.

In apparent reaction, Sani said, “When a government builds roads, bridges and rail lines without securing the lives of the people who will use it.

“It’s simply beautifying a cemetery.”
