Burna Boy Donates Concert Money To Victims Of Xenophobic Attack

Super Star, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu aka Burna Boy has dedicated half of the money that would be generated from his upcoming concert to those who suffered at the hands of Xenophobic attackers in South Africa.

The Xenophobic attack was one of the recent attacks in South Africa that claimed the lives of several Nigerians who were living in South Africa at that point in time.

Xenophobia (fear of foreigners) is still felt today in South Africa and is growing worldwide with Islamophobia. The latest wave of xenophobic attacks is under girded by the belief foreigners are to blame for South Africa’s social and economic woes.

Burna Boy has decided to show is support and care for the victims of the Xenophobic attack by giving out half of the proceeds from his upcoming #AfricansUnite concert to the victims of the Xenophobic attack.

Burna Boy wrote;“The first of many! Part of the proceeds will be donated to the victims of Xenophobic attacks by me! I really hope we can all keep contributing in our own way to make the world a better and safer place for each other. #Africansunite , it’s bigger than all of us”
