Burna Boy searching for successor, reveals album release date

Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy says he is desperately searching for a successor.

He disclosed this in a Sunday tweet, noting that he is praying to God for a “young nigga wey get my spirit”.

“I dey pray for just one young nigga wey get my spirit make I hand over give am.

“I know say God go lead me to am soon,” he wrote via his verified Twitter handle @burnaboy.

He also revealed that he would release another album in 2021.

The Afrobeat artiste, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, revealed this while responding to a fan’s query.

The fan @Khevo_ asked: “Are we having an album this year? @burnaboy”.

Replying, the 29-year-old artiste said, “Same time as last year. No worry”

Recall that Burna Boy won a Grammy Award in March for his 2020 album, “Twice as Tall”.

The album was released on August 14, 2020, by Spaceship Entertainment, Atlantic Records and Warner Music.
