Car Wash Attendant, 48, Flees With Customer’s SUV

A Car wash attendant identified as Idris Ayotunde, who bolted away with his customers SUV car has been caught and apprehended.

According to Crime Puzzle Reportsthe 48-year old suspect who was recently employed at the car wash was intercepted at Alakija Village, through Olodo, on the Abeokuta/Ibadan Express way on Friday, 4th of December, 2020.

The Ogun state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, made it known that Ayotunde was unable to present Security operatives with the Vehicle’s particulars and was thus taken to the Police station.

Upon reaching the station, it was further discovered that the vehicle was a stolen one.

When asked to speak, Ayotunde disclosed that the SUV car belonging to a female owner was brought in for Vacuum cleaning.

Aware of the unavailability of a Vacuum engine in their car wash, Ayotunde still collected the keys.

“But because we don’t have vacuum engine in our car wash, I decided to take it to another car wash nearby, only to change my mind on the road and bolted with it”, he revealed.
