A Nigerian traveller has secretly recorded officials at the Lagos airport, who routinely demand bribes from travellers.
The Traveller was able to secretly document his experience in the hands of the officials who refused to hand him his passport and other travelling documents, demanding that he place a $20 bill in the bribe
One of the officials, was wearing a white polo top with lines, and reportedly works for one of the many agencies seconded to the Lagos airport. This official speaking Yoruba to the traveller was not willing to release the passport.
The traveller was finally allowed to go but not before revealing to them that he had captured their extortion activities on tape.
