Charlie Austin Scores Winning Goal On Debut Against Man Utd

Charlie Austin Southampton career started on a flying note as his goal against Manchester United sealed the three points for his new club.

Ironically this is the first time Southampton will win a game over Manchester United since 1988.

He made his debut coming from Queens park rangers where he scored 18 goals last season before they were relegated.

Charlie Austin minutes after coming into the match as a substitute he scored his first goal in the English premier league ever.

The loudest cheer of the day came when a mouse invaded the Old Trafford pitch which for a moment caused confusion.

Manchester United again struggled to create chances in front of their Old Trafford crowd.

The match was generally described as boring, rubbish and re-sounding boos rang even before the whistle to end the first half was blown from angry fans.
