A lady, identified as Timmie on Twitter is of the opinion that Davido lied about Chioma’s health just to get trend.
According to Timmie, Davido only used her as a bait to be on the headlines and trend in all media platforms. She further attacked the singer, calling him a petty clout chaser and a “petty grown up man”.
She tweeted: “Davido is just a petty clout chaser! Chioma was never positive, man just needed to be on the headlines. What a petty grown up man!!!”
Earlier on, DMW label boss, Davido has confirmed that his fiancée, Chioma tested positive for coronavirus. He confirmed this in a series of tweets on Friday evening.

According to Davido, Chioma had recently returned from London, United Kingdom.
He wrote: “Hey everyone ! I came back recently from America after cancelling tour.
“My fiancé Chioma also came back from London recently with our baby.
“We had no symptoms and still both feel perfectly fine but because of our recent travel history we decided to take ourselves and our all close associates we’ve come in recent contact with for the COVID-19 test on the 25th of March.
“Unfortunately, my fiancé’s results came back positive while all 31 others tested have come back negative including our baby.
“We are however doing perfectly fine and she is even still yet to show any symptoms whatsoever.”
However, in a recent post, the father of three revealed that Chioma has tested negative to the virus.
The DMW record label boss disclosed this in a tweet on Sunday night.
He wrote: “Glory be to God .. Chioma has now tested negative twice for Covid19 … Thank you all for prayers …. We love you..”
