Nigerian comedian, Bovi has opened up on why he will be hosting his “Man On Fire” Annual Comedy Show in the United Kingdom.
The comedian while speaking as a guest on the Morning Rush on Beat FM with Maria, Olisa and Osi this morning explained why his shoe will be hosted outside the shores of the country.
He said: “I make money everywhere. I like to entertain everywhere and what most people don’t know is that It’s easier and cheaper to plan shows abroad”.
Not wanting to leave his Lagos fans hanging, the comedian said: “I’m doing Man On Fire in Lagos. I did Australia last year,”
He continued, “People recognize comedy as comedy outside Nigeria. Here you have to add music and other aspects. Some of us have tried it. That’s what Man On Fire is technically, but we try to balance it. I have opening acts and some musicians. But is essentially my show. Sponsors also now mistake concerts for one man shows. They don’t think it’s possible”.
