Former Super Eagles Head Coach and captain, Christian Chukwu has expressed surprise that some people wish him death.

He stated this while debunking rumour circulating about his purported demise.

Recall that Christian Chukwu celebrated his 70th birthday on January 4 and President Muhammadu Buhari congratulated him on the occasion.

Since then, rumour has been making the rounds about his death.

“I am terribly embarrassed with this news that I am dead. Several people have been calling me from across the world since the news broke.

“I am still investigating the source of the story,” Chukwu, who was known as ‘Chairman’ in his playing days, said.
