Church Services Suspended Due To Coronavirus

According to reports, The Archbishop of Canterbury on Tuesday announced that public worship is ‘suspended until further notice’ amid fears over coronavirus.

In a letter written by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, Justin Welby and John Sentamu respectively, they urged that public services should be put on hold as it is a necessity.

They wrote: “Our life is going to be less characterized by attendance at church on Sunday, and more characterized by the prayer and service we offer each day,”

Earlier on, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that people should stop socializing, work from home, avoid travelling and that whole households should stay in isolation if one person becomes ill.
