Comedian Ebiye Reacts After Being Called Out For Buying Benz On Credit

Nigerian Comedian, Victor Ebiye has finally spoken up after being called out for buying a Benz on credit and refusing to pay.

Recall that a car dealer had earlier called out Ebiye for buying a car on loan  and intentionally defaulting on payment.

Psalms, the car dealer accused Ebiye of selling the car he bought on loan and investing the proceeds in Forex.

Angered by his actions, Psalms called him out on Twitter to pay his debt.

Following the backlash he received from Nigerians, Ebiye has finally spoken up about the whole issue.

Via a two minute video he shared on his Instagram page, the comedian revealed that the car was sold to him at N3.8m, for which he made an initial deposit of N2.9m and agreed with the car dealer to pay the balance gradually.

However, he was unable to make the final payment due to the covid-19 pandemic which affected him financially.

“It’s been rough for me since coronavirus happened” He revealed.

The comedian expressed his relief after being called because there was nothing to hide again.

He also shared his bank account details in the comment section in case anyone wanted to give him money to complete the payment for the car.
