Former Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte has said that he will start a new job in June, effectively ruling himself out of the Real Madrid job.

The former Italy coach was touted as a possible replacement for Julen Lopetegui after the latter was fired from his job.

Santiago Solari is currently at the helm of affairs at Real Madrid and has so far not lost a game and has steadied a ship that was seen as a failing one.

Conte was asked about his future and any projects he might want to embark on and he said that while he’s received tempting offers, he will not be taking  on any jobs till June

“Real Madrid? As I see it, it is better to wait until the end of the season than to take a train running now,” said Conte to Sky Sports

“I want to wait for June and start again with a new project. In three months I could change my mind and deny everything, but I’ve always thought of it this way.”

The Italian tactician has also been linked with a return to Juventus where he won 3 Scudetto, he said that he doesn’t have plans to replace Max Allegri, but that he would prefer to coach in Italy than in any other country.

“If I think about the fact that I could train Ronaldo? No, I do not think about it,” Conte added. “I’m happy with the players I’ve trained and the things I’ve won. The club continues to grow and is doing a great job at the business level, with huge purchases and a great deal for Allegri.

“Of course, I am Italian and I like to live and train in Italy, obviously, at the moment there is an incredible dominance of Juventus, but the pursuers are they are strengthening year after year ” he said
