Dr Anu Fella, the owner of Med Contour has been placed under investigation by The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) for performing fake plastic surgeries.
The story of Nigerian based plastic surgeon, Dr Anu all began when a client of hers called her out for performing a fake surgical procedure on her.
Popular slay queen Omohtee had called the surgeon out for blocking her on social media platforms after the plastic surgery went wrong.
Not long after the video, people started sharing stories of their bad experiences with the cosmetic surgeon, a few alleged that her practice was Illegal as she was not fully licensed to be practicing at all.
Detailed description of her illegal practices came to light on social media.
As if that was not bad enough, a video showing the result of a botched Brazilian Butt lift surfaced online. In the video, the woman was seen in excruciating pain as the doctors tried to treat the leaking backside.
The video was linked to Med Contour through a scar on the patients backside which was exactly identical to a picture on her page.
Following the increasing allegations brought forward against Dr. Anu of Med Contour, FCCPC has opened an investigation into the company and has sealed off the office which is located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos state.
In a release by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Babatunde Irukera said the commission’s initial review indicates that there is sufficient probable cause to inquire into the consumer protection aspects of the representations and services of Med Contour and its operatives.
FCCPC via their twitter page tweeted: “UPDATE: In furtherance of an open investigation, on reasonable suspicion of illegal activities (S.18(1) FCCPA), FCCPC today sealed Med Contour in an abundance of caution & consumer safety pending further inquiry.”
