“This, the Kwara Government has done and that is why we have Kam industries laying the foundation of a new factory,” the statement noted.
However, the NYCN urged Kam Industries to ensure that Kwara youths were given special consideration in the employment opportunities as the host community.
The council expressed its full support for the company in meeting its vision and mission.
“We note in particular the success recorded in improving the state IGR through an efficient and well organised tax collection system.
“We urge the ‎youths to eschew all forms of anti social activities especially drug abuse as the abuse of drugs is the root of all social vices,” it said. (NAN)
