A Federal High Court sitting in Bwari, Abuja has dismissed Busola Dakolo’s rape allegations against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) and awarded a cost of N1m against her

In June 2019, The Herald reported that Busola Dakolo accused popular Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo of rape in an exclusive interview on Ynaija TV.

Busola, who is the wife of popular Singer Timi Dakolo claimed Pastor Biodun raped her at the young age of 16, in her family house at Ilorin, Kwara state. She also accused the Pastor of giving her a Krest, a lemon drink after committing the evil act.

The two parties have since been in and out of court since the rape allegations were made.

Fatoyinbo filed an objection to counter Dakolo saying her statements were false and were concocted to defame his character.

However, in the ruling, the Court declared Pastor Fatoyinbo innocent of the rape allegations and awarded the cost of N1m against the claimant, Mrs. Busola Dakolo. According to the verdict given, the N1m cost ought to be more but they do not want to dissuade the real rape victims from coming forward to tender their claims.
