Breaking: Court grants Omoyele Sowore Bail

The trial Judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Friday, has granted bail to Omoyele Sowore, publisher of Sahara Reporters and the convener of #RevolutionNow protest.= alongside his co-defendant, Mr Olawale Bakare.

While delivering her ruling on the bail application filed by the defendant counsels, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, gave the order on Friday, stating that the defendants should be released on bail, with the bail sum of N100 Million.

Recall that the Federal Government through the Attorney General of the Federation had charged Sowore to court on charges of treasonable felony amongst others, after the DSS had detained him for calling for a revolution through a protest which was interpreted to amount to toppling the Buhari government and insulting the person of the President.
