Mohammed’s counsel, A.I. Mustapha, had opposed the application on the grounds that the Police had already told the court that investigation into the matter had been concluded.

In her ruling, Magistrate Fati Auna, granted the prayers of the prosecution and gave Mohammed 14 days to make himself available for the test.

Auna adjourned the matter until April 2 for hearing.
