The Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday refused to postpone the trial of  Omoyele Sowore and his Co-defendant, Olawale Bakare.

The trial is based on charges of treasonable felony adjourned. Their lawyers, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), and Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika (SAN), had made the request for adjournment on the grounds that they had not been allowed access to the defendants in the custody of the Department of State Services holding them.

This comes after Omoyele Sowore, Human Rights Activist and Publisher of Sahara Reporters who has been been in DSS detention on felony charges since August 3, 2019 has finally met all his bail conditions.
