UK based Nigerian singer and Covenant University graduate, Bimbi Philips is making some serious moves towards establishing himself in the music scene both at home and abroad.
The singer who recently dropped the visual to his new single “It’s Bimbi”, currently receiving massive airplays on major TV music channels at home, has continued to make headlines in the UK.
His new single, which is also enjoying massive airplay on BBC Radio has attracted top UK DJ TS7 to step forward for a remix duty.
TS7 who has worked with top artists in the international scene came into limelight just at the age of 17 when he was approached by Atlantic Records to remix Estelle’s ‘American Boy’ which went on to reach number 1.
Obviously in love with the song, TS7 remixes Bimbi’s new single as he quickens the pace further with a tough and urgent UKG rhythm section, chopping the vocals and spinning it all into an Afro-nodding club banger.
Bimbi’s new single is a blend of Afrobeat and House sound and the video was directed by Luke Biggins and UK Based production outfit MasterMind Media.
The song was produced by Gate House Music, mixed and mastered by Nigeria’s very own, Tee-Y Mix.
