COVID-19:Buhari Makes Osinbajo Chairman of Economic Sustainability C’mtee

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the establishment of an Economic Sustainability Committee on COVID-19 to be headed by vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

The establishment of the committee comes as one of the measures being taken by the Federal Government to Combat the spread of the virus in the country.

The move was announced by Secretary to the Government of the Federation and chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 Boss Mustapha during a joint press briefing of the task force on the effects of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

This comes on the backdrop of 14 day lock down of Lagos, Ogun and Abuja announced by President Buhari in a televised address to the nation about the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Nigeria currently has 111 cases of Coronavirus with two confirmed deaths in the country.
