The Commissioner for Health in Lagos State, Prof Akin Abayomi, has released the statistic containing the full list of areas in Lagos State with confirmed cases of coronavirus.
According to the statistic given by the commissioner, Lagos state has a total number of 98 confirmed cases in six Local Government Areas of the state.
Eti-Osa, the local Government Area with the highest number has 47 confirmed cases while Ikeja has 24 confirmed cases, and Lagos mainland, 14.
Abayomi disclosed the numbers during a briefing on the update on coronavirus in the state on Friday.

Cases by age
The age range of most of the cases are between 30 and 59 years the commissioner said, while three cases are between the age of 60 and 70.
Gender distribution
Abayomi disclosed that the gender differences include 64 per cent of the patients being males, while 36 per cent are females.
“91 per cent of confirmed #COVID-19 cases in Lagos are Nigerians, nine per cent are foreigners,” he added.

The figures also show that 24 patients have been discharged, leaving the state with 74 active cases.
