Multiple award-winning musician, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid has dared Nigerian pastors to visit any of the COVID-19 isolation centres in the country to heal patients.

Wizkid threw the challenge in a tweet on Thursday evening.

This is as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 681 new cases of the deadly virus in Nigeria late Thursday, bringing the total number of recorded cases to 14,554.

In the new figures released, Lagos recorded the highest with 345 cases, Rivers came a distant second with 51 cases, and Ogun third with 48 cases.

According to NCDC, the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 also increased to 387, while 4,494 patients have been discharged so far after recovering from the virus.

Wizkid, who scoffed at the pastors, urged them to help decongest the isolation centres by visiting there and healing the patients.

Tweeting to his 6.6 million followers, Wizkid wrote, “I never see any naija pastor go isolation heal anybody from covid lol”.
