Cristiano Ronaldo Equals Juventus Scoring Record

2 Min Read

Cristiano Ronaldo scored for Juventus in the 28th minute against SPAL, slotting the ball past  Alfred Gomis in goal

That goal brought Ronaldo’s tally in Italy to 9 goals out of 13 games, a record that now equals that of Pietro Anastasi who managed it in the 1968-69 season, his first with the Old Lady after his move from Varese.

After failing to score in his first 4 games with the Old Lady, Ronaldo has lit up like a house on fire, scoring and assisting as Juventus have marched straight to the Zenith of Serie A and don’t look like faltering.

And Mario Mandzukic has also been starring alongside the Portuguese as he too was on hand to score in the game against SPAL bringing his own tally to 6 league goals in a campaign that has been really good to him as he’s already scored more goals this season than he did in 32 games last season.
