Cubana Chief Priest Parts Ways With Obi Cubana As Their Relationship Turns Sour

Nigerian Socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest has ended his business relationship with his employer Obi Cubana.

According to reports, their relationship turned sour after Cubana Chief Priest reportedly told Obi Cubana that he no longer wants to be part of Cubana Group, which owns several night clubs in Nigeria.

Cubana Chief Priest also went on to kick off his own nightclub named De Angels Bar and Grill located in Owerri, Imo State.

The new club, De Angels nightclub has been up and running since 2018, although in partnership with Cubana Group.

This has apparently caused a rift between himself and Obi Cubana.

Cubana Chief Priest on Thursday via his official Instagram account addressed the ongoing drama, noting that he needs his freedom.

He wrote: “A Child Is Meant To Grow To Be Greater Than The Father/Master, Why You Come Dey Vex ? #CelebrityBarMan✨ Nobody Can Do It Better Than Me Am Doing Destiny, Am Doing The Will Of God, I Have Served So Well N Learnt So Much, I Did So Well That History Will Never Forget, I Need My Freedom, I Have To Do My Own E No Suppose Cause Fight Nah, Well Is Still Love ❤️ Forever On This Side, May God Protect N Keep Us #GlenmorangieChiefPriest🥃.”

Following their feud, an Igbo community on Instagram identified as Instaigbo have called for nationwide prayers and fasting for the Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief priest bond not to break.

They wrote: “Pls all NDI IGBOs Nationwide let’s enter fasting & prayers for this Union not to break !!! These two brothers upgraded Igbo Value in the hospitality & entertainment sector.

Long Live the friendship & bond between @obi_cubana & @cubana_chiefpriest.”
