Cultists allegedly stone boy to death in Makurdi -

A man, known as Oniha Ragnar Donald, was stoned to death in Makurdi on Monday. According to reports, the incident occurred around the Modern Market area of the state. The deceased is said to have been running away from some men who were allegedly cult members. However, they caught up with him in the said market and began to stone him. Donald’s head was smashed with a stone in the process, and that led to his death.

The friends of the deceased have since gone on social media to mourn him. He is said to have been one of the staff members at a particular Airtel outlet in Benue state.

While narrating the incidence to newsmen, the police spokesperson revealed that it was most likely a cult clash. He stated that before officers got to the scene, the young man had died and his attackers fled the scene too.

Donald was left to die in a pool of his own blood . Friends explained that he cried for help at the time he was being stoned but no one could stop his attackers since they also had guns on them.
