The marriage of top nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson to Billionaire’s son Olu Akande is reportedly in crisis.
According to reports,the couple who got married in 2011 after dating for four years might be parting ways soon.
Speculations about Dakore’s alleged marriage crash began when she shared a bikini picture of herself on the beach which was very unusual of her.
According to Kemi Ashefon, PUNCH editor, disclosed that life is no longer rosy for Olu Akande and this is affecting Dakore who can no longer cope with the financial instability of her husband.
“The marriage had problems a few years back but the couple tried to make things work out. Many factors were responsible but Dakore became tired of not having enough money to throw around. Her husband, Olumide, who is one of a son of billionaire businessman, Harry Akande, is broke—the money isn’t flowing like when they met, courted and married. Olu lives off his dad and the economy isn’t as buoyant. Even Harry Akande is allegedly not as rich as he was,” reliable sources told Kemi Ashefon.
Ashefon also disclosed that Olu Akande, son of Business mogul Sir Harry Akande sacrificed a lot to be with Dakore as his family was initially against their marriage.
They believed Dakore was a “gold digger” who had plans to live off their family’s wealth.
“Olumide sacrificed everything for Dakore. Initially, when he made his intention known to family members that he wanted to marry the actress, hell was loose! No member of his family stood by him. To them, Olu could have gotten a good girl instead of an actress, who is tagged wayward and a gold-digger. He ignored all pleadings and advice. The handsome dude went for Dakore and they were married in 2011. They have two girls as products of the union,” source revealed.
Also the issue of a third child seems to be a contributing factor to the alleged crash. Olu’s family members want the couple to have a third child but the nollywood actress is apparently done with child-bearing.
