This has generated mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media

@FrankEdoho

I just got off the phone, my friend Oscar confirmed that Dan Foster has passed on. This is a very very dark year.
How can I overcome this unending melancholy. Rest in Peace, dear Friend. πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”

Dan Foster’s voice was a huge part of my growing up. His voice on Cool FM. His playfulness. His kindness.

Long before I saw what he looked like, his voice communicated his personality in a way no picture needed to. This one is one loss too many. This is a really sad day.

@TheNeoZion

I love it when Dan says belle instead of Pele the guys is a radio god . He and the likes of Olisa and IBK did radio without so much of social media topics , they were so original . Seriously waiting for his own radio station .

@solibayo

This is so saddening, this guy got me addicted to cool fm and radio way back then

@yudeeBassey

Another terrible loss. I always looked forward to his shows on the radio. He came, lived and made an impact. Rest in peace & glory Dan Foster.
