Michael Oshibanjo has been arrested after he threw rocks violently at the head of a policeman who was tried to separate the suspect from an argument with two other officers.
The prosecutor, Inspector Augustine Ozimini told the court that the suspect had been engaged in a heated quarrel with Inspector Olowolabi Sunday and one Corporal Abel, when the victim, Inspector Raphael Ayeni attempted to mediate.
It was at this stage that the suspect picked up stones and hurled them at the victim, grazing his forehead in the process.
The suspect, pled not guilty at his arraignment before a magistrate’s court sitting in Isabo, Abeokuta.
