A social media influencer, Daniel Regha says popular musician, Davido is a “selfish public figure”.

In a tweet, he said that this was because the musician joined the #EndSARS protests in October 2020 to call out the government but is now campaigning for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the July 16 governorship election in Osun.

Regha, who is a socio-political commentator, was reacting viral photos and videos of Davido campaigning for his uncle and PDP candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke on Thursday.

In one video, the DMW label boss can be heard singing some of his most popular songs Dami Duro and FEM to the delight of many youths that thronged the campaign ground.

Reacting, Daniel Regba said, “Davido is busy campaigning for his uncle Ademola Adeleke knowing full well that he’s influential & this gives the PDP publicity in the 2023 elections; Same Davido was among the EndSARS protesters & has repeatedly called out the govt. Can u see the problem? Self!sh public figures.”
