Toke Makinwa’s new book, ‘On Becoming’, was launched on Sunday 27th of November, with many celebrities turning up to support her, among them is Dbanj, who pledged N1million and has redeemed it.
The event, which took place at the Wheatbaker hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos, was attended by many people, some of them are families, work colleagues, celebrities and well known writers.
It was hosted by the Ebony life TV chairman, Mo Abudu, with some musicians taking the center stage to sing renditions of carefully selected songs to fit the book chapters.
Popular musician, Dbanj, who attended the event, pledged the sum of N1million in support of the book launch and Toke Makinwa has confirmed on her media handle that the pledge has been redeemed.
The excited media personality, Toke Makinwa, shared the good news with a lot of thanks to the musician.
