Death toll rises as supporters celebrate Buhari’s re-election

A young man celebrating the victory of President Buhari has died in Jalingo, Taraba state.

Reports have it that the deceased tripped from a motorcycle while he and some other supporters were speeding recklessly on a highway in the state’s capital. He is said to have died immediately after he tripped and his remains were subsequently cleared off the road by some officials.

A similar case occurred in Abuja on Wednesday as well.
