The Court of Appeal, Benin City has sacked Ighoyota Amori, who was until this development the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the upper chamber.
In it’s judgment the five man panel of the Appeal Court granted the prayers of the Labour Party Senatorial Candidate, Obaisi Ovie Omo-Agege.
The ruling f the Appeal Court has trimmed the number of PDP senators representing Delta State to two.
In a reaction to the judgment, Omo-Agege thanked the court and his supporters, promising to deliver on the dividends of democracy to his constituency.
