Diabetic Women 40% More Likely to Suffer Heart Attack – Study

A study of about 11 million patients has revealed that Diabetic women are 40 per cent more likely to suffer Heart Attack compared to men.

According to the author of the study, women with diabetes had a roughly 40 per cent greater excess risk of acute coronary syndrome, compared with men with diabetes.

They concluded that people should take all necessary steps to diagnose diabetes early, and control risk factors comprehensively to guarantee the most suitable treatments and best possible outcomes in female patients.
