Nollywood actress Thelma O’khaz has received a blitz of negative publicity recently after some blogs reported that she bleached her skin from fair to “ghost white”.
The actress who debunked the alleged bleaching, stated that the bloggers who carried the report were jobless and ignorant.
She said the publicity however had brought her even more fame and fortune.
Her words: “It is amazing how jobless and ignorant some of our bloggers are. You won’t believe that people have been following me on twitter and I have more friend requests on facebook because of that senseless report. In other words, the report is a blessing in disguise for me because I also got two movie roles today because of it. I am going to thank all the blogs today (Tuesday) for increasing my popularity,” she said, adding that the report can only hurt her if really it were true.
She added, “I don’t care what people say as long as people I love and care for understands me. To answer your question, I didn’t bleach, it was just light reflections; there are lights all over the studio when I took the picture. It is just light effect”.
