DMX joined Fat Man Scoop on his Instagram Live recently, where they had a conversation on who they believe are the best lyricists ever.
While they mentioned names of their favourites, X questioned why Fat Man Scoop included Lloyd Banks on his list.
“Lloyd Banks? Lyrical?” DMX asked. “Quote four bars. Impress me with four bars of his. It shouldn’t be hard,” recorded X.

It is reasonable that Banks didn’t take X’s comments too lightly, and disclosed why he thinks DMX made those statements on Twitter.

X definitely came across Banks’ response, and admitted that he made a mistake, while at the same time took a shot at Tony Yayo. “It takes a real n*gga to admit when he’s wrong……” he wrote over a screencap of Banks’ tweets. “My apologies to loyd banks I was thinking tony yayo when I was asked about banks. I fuck with banks!”
