American President, Donald Trump is not a fan of CNN. He has said so on several occasions, criticised their news coverage and called them ‘fake news’

The President took it to a whole new level after he went on a recent trip with his wife Melania and discovered that one of the TVs aboard Airforce One was tuned to CNN.

According to the New York Times, Trump raged at his staff for violating a rule that the White House entourage should begin each trip tuned to Fox.

There was an email shared with the times which showed that President Trump was furious and called for the ordering of two additional televisions to support Beam, a streaming device, to make sure the president and first lady could both watch TV in their separate hotel rooms when they travel.

The email which was between officials in the White House Military Office and the White House Communications Agency also confirmed that Fox TV was the preferred station for the President and that all TVs must be tuned to it going forward.

Donald Trump has been embroiled in one saga to the next in recent times, especially regarding Russia and the role they played in meddling in the 2016 election, a fact that Trump seemed to deny in a press conference with Russian President, Vladmir Putin in Helsinki.

Donald Trump later said that he misspoke and that he expected that Americans would understand what he was saying at the time.

The President also later said in a tweet: “I’m very concerned that Russia will be fighting very hard to have an impact on the upcoming Election,

“Based on the fact that no President has been tougher on Russia than me, they will be pushing very hard for the Democrats. They definitely don’t want Trump!”

This ignores the fact that President Putin indeed stated that Russia preferred Trump to win the election.
