Don’t Relent Your Service To Humanity, Kwara First Lady Tasks Nurses

Wife of the governor of Kwara, Mrs Olufolake AbdulRazaq, has advised nurses not to relent in their service to humanity.

Mrs AbdulRazaq gave the advice in a statement issued by her Chief Press Secretary, Mr Adeyinka Adeniyi, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Ilorin.

The first lady, who was conferred with the title of “Ambassador of Nurses” by the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Kwara chapter, congratulated them on the commemoration of the International Nurses Day.

She commended nurses for the role they are playing, especially during the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, noting that their efforts was appreciated.

The first lady presented an undis losed amount of cash to the NANMN in recognition of the critical role the members are playing, adding that their significance cannot be underestimated.

It would be recalled that the first lady had earlier donated Protective Personal Equipment and disinfectants to general hospitals across the state for use by health workers.
