An attack by two female suicide bombers suspected to be Boko Haram members in a busy motor park in Madagali area of Adamawa State has left at least 30 persons dead and many more injured.
According to a witness, Danladi Buba, two female suicide bombers detonated explosives in the mini market near a motor park around 9am, killing 30 and injuring 16.
Confirming the attack, Brig.-Gen. Victor Ezugwu, Brigade Commander of 28 Task Force Brigade, Mubi, said the casualty figure was yet to be determined.
Stating that the injured had been moved to hospital, he said the military had cordoned off the area and brought the situation under control.
