There’s a popular saying on Twitter used by many millennials that seems to sum up the acts of men in relationships with women: ‘Men are Scum’
This was shown in its clearest form when a wedding that took place at the Gutu Magistrates’ Court turned upside down when the groom’s actual wife showed up just as her philandering husband was about to tie the knot with another woman.
In a report that appeared on iHarare’s on Tuesday, the news agency narrated how the legal wife showed up from nowhere to disrupt her husband’s marriage to someone else. The wife explained that she was tipped off about what was going on and just had to show up.
Dzingai Chagwiza, 49, who was also the groom was about to wed his mistress before Magistrate Victor Mohamadiwho then asked the famous question if there was anyone with a good reason why the couple should not be wedded and that such an individual should stand up and say it and just like in the movies, the man’s wife, Queen Vhondo stormed the courtroom to object to it.
“I was tipped by some of my friends that my husband was dating Dube, who is a vendor at Mpandawana. I came to court and was surprised to see a big cake in front of my husband,” said Vhondo.
