Drunken Lecturer Kills 3 Students at Kogi Poly

No fewer than 3 students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja were killed by a suspected drunken driver.

The suspect who has been identified as a Lecturer in the school, was alleged to have knocked down one miss Taiwo Edilola Omolola, an HND1  student as she was about to board a commercial motorcycle from the campus .

According to an eye witness report, the drunken lecturer was on high speed when he hit the victim and two other students waiting to board a cab.

It was learnt that the deceased got stock under the lecturer’s car wheel just as he dragged her along the expressway.

The mutilated body was later pulled out and while trying to escape being lynched by an angry mob, he hit and killed two other students who were waiting to board a cab at the opposite direction.
Mr Luke Yakubu, the Public Relations officer of the polytechnic, confirmed the accident.
